The design brief for the new headquarters of CE Cape Town North church included a 1200 seat cinema style auditorium, a children's church for 120 children, a coffee shop and a church office for church staff and volunteers. The church also wanted a building that can be built in the shortest amount of time. Situated next to the R300 in Brackenfell Industria, the site comprised 4831m2. The design response required a carefull balance in organizing public and private spaces in a small building footprint.
